CALLIGRAPHY AND THE SOUL

[…] the group felt at ease in the piece by Gentian Doda, an up-and-coming and young choreographer, like themselves. Axis explores the movement of a primary group, moving as a mass in crouched forms and driven by sound through impulses and undulations of the torso. An idea of order and chaos, of matter and potential energy, presented with a structure and logic of development that was fluid, and with a rhythmic action to which everyone was well attuned.
