Born in Venezuela, she trained as a classical dancer at the Rambert School in London, Escuela Ballet-Arte in Caracas and School of American Ballet in New York.She began her dancing career in Caracas with the Ballet Teresa Carreño and then 1996 she moved to Europe dancing with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Aterballetto, Lyon Opera Ballet, Ballet de Victor Ullate and Compañía Nacional de Danza . She also studied screen writing and stage design and has closely collaborated in many works by Gentian Doda. She moved her base to Berlin in 2014 and since then works in different projects performing as a free lance artist, designing, as well as guest teaching in many important european dance companies.
SUSANA RIAZUELO / PERFORMER, SET DESIGNER
Born in Bulgaria he worked in companies like The National Opera of Sofia, Jeunne Ballet de France, Ballet National de Nancy et Lorraine and the Compañia Nacional de Danza under the direction of Nacho Duato.
He became a freelance dancer, choreographer, teacher and assistant in 2009.In 2011 together with Gentian Dodahe choreographed S.O.S. and 1/2 Waltz wich won first prize in both the Copenhagen and Hannover choreography competitons. His duo ‘Aimless’ won the 1st prize in the International Competition for Choreography Burgos-New York2014: ‘Aimless’ won 2nd prize, and Best Performer for his partner Tamako Akiyama and Production Award for the Royal Danish Ballet in the Copenhagen Choreographic Competition. He ctreated works forT.H.E company (Singapore) in 2013 and 2017 and for Compañia Nacional de Danza em 2016He also created ‘Entre Mareas’ and “Broken Lines” full length works for the Festival Madrid en Danza. Together with Tamako Akiyama he was invited by Manuel Legris for ‘The New Universe of Manuel Legris in Vienna, Paris and Tokyo.
DIMO KIRILOV / PERFORMER, CHOREOGRAPHER
Taking some distance from the traditional way of approaching
music, he began his
own way with the investigation and the musical experimentation
with homemade recordings,
vinyl records, tapes and CDs. Even in close connection with this
activity, he currently experiences all kinds of sound materials and
performs performatic concerts.
During his stay in Europe (2004-2009), his compositions began to
focus also on contemporary dance and theater. There he composed
several pieces for the choreographer Gentian Doda (CND /
Direction: Nacho Duato), Myriam Agar (School of María de Ávila /
Director: Lola de Ávila), etc.
Already in Bsuenos Aires. He composed original music for the
directors: Claudio Tolcachir, Luciano Suardi, Mariana Obersztern,
Stella Gallazzi, Diego Lerman, (among others), participating as a
musician on stage in various international festivals; Festival of
Avignon (France), theater festival Nuevo León (Mexico), festival
Santiago to Mil (Chile), among others ...
His compositions have passed through prestigious theater in the
world such as: Teatro La Zarzuela (Madrid), Teatro de San Carlos
(Naples), Teatro Solis (Montevideo) ..., as well as several cities:
New York, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg, Santo Domingo,
Palermo, Lima, Monterrey, Granada, Barcelona etc.
At the moment it continues his career like plastic indoors and it is
professionally performed like composer and musician / performer in scene.
JOAQUIN SAGADE / COMPOSER
Born in Chile, studied philosophy in Santiago de Chile, Montevideo, London and Berlín. Translator, author of rotary books and radio features, moderator and editor at Radiofunkhaus Europa
SERGIO CORREA / DRAMATURG
Born in Chile. He studied Lighting and Sound Design at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, RADA (London) and then in the School of Dramatic Arts of Yale University (USA) with a Fulbright Scholarship. From 1986 he is resident Lighting Designer at the Teatro SANPOL in Madrid, where he has worked in a total of 36 shows, such as The Magic Flute, Around the World in 80 Days, Castles in the Air, The Wizard of Oz or A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to mention a few.
In 1991 he becomes resident Lighting Designer and Technical Director of the Compañía Nacional de Danza, directed by Nacho Duato. During the next five years he is in charge of the lighting of productions such as Rassemblement, Por vos muero, Duende, Cautiva, Coming together, among the 16 choreographies performed by the company. As a professor, he has taught diverse courses and workshops for the Escuela de Técnicos del Espectáculo, Artibús (Teatro de Madrid) and for the Carlos III University (Madrid).
NICHOLAS FISCHTEL / LIGHT DESIGNER
Born in Tirana, where she studied the traditional music and dance of Albania. She has been singing at various cultural events in Albania and Italy, where she has been living for the last 20 years. Her last performance was las December in Berlin in "Die Letzte Reise".
MERITA DODA / SINGER, PERFORMER
Born in Geneva, Switzerland. He completes his dancing studies in the “L’Ecole de Danse de Genève” then in the Ballet Junior, where he acquired his first performing experiences, being both groups under the direction of Beatriz Consuelo.
In 1994 he joins choreographer Richard Wherlock’s Hagen Ballet with whom he closely works as soloist in the Luzerner Ballet, Komische Oper Berlin and Ballet Basel companies. In 2002 he joins the Compañía Nacional de Danza, directed by Nacho Duato. In 2008 he takes the role of rehearsel director of the Compañía Nacional de Danza 2, also directed by Duato and Tony Favre. The following year he codirects the company with Hervé Palito. Throughout his career he has taught choreography workshops and master classes worldwide. Since 2011 he is producer and working as an international guest teacher, giving choreographical workshops of Duato’s repertoire, and combining it with dancing projects. Beside his work as a coach and dancer, he is involved in different production projects, such as the International Gala Somos Arte in Valencia.
FABRICE EDELMAN / PERFORMER, MANAGEMENT
Born in Tirana, at the age of 2 his family and moved to Italy, where he was raised. At the age of 19 entered the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan, where he graduated in Set Design. During these studies, he found out the passion for photography. He started his MA in Fine Art and Fashion Photography in Milan, and he completed in Madrid, at Universidad Complutense through the Erasmus Project. He started his set designs and photography projects in Madrid, for then moving to London in 2013. During this years Rinaldo builds his network of clients and people that would commission him photography jobs. In 2014 he assisted the established photographer Mariano Vivanco that introduce him to the high end editorial photography world. Since the beginning of 2015, Rinaldo works full time as a freelance art and fashion photographer.
Based in London, he actively works in Madrid, Paris, New York, and Mexico City.
